ughhhhh I love it when none of my geology professors know how to work basic technology. Like, I don’t think I’ve had a single prof in my major who’s powerpoints don’t look like something I would have made in middle school

Okay so the lead scientist for NASA’s Mars Curiosity mission (John Grotzinger) is an alumni at my university and this man has like multiple PhDs and awards and he came and gave a lecture here in the fall and HIS ENTIRE POWERPOINT WAS IN COMIC SANS

ALL OF MY PROFESSORS CAN WORK THINGS LIKE ELECTRON MICROSCOPES AND X-RAY DIFFRACTION MACHINES BUT THEY DON’T KNOW HOW TO CONSTRUCT A POWERPOINT OR HOW TO UPLOAD IT AS A PDF SO THAT THEIR CHEESY ANIMATIONS DON’T GET IN THE WAY OF THE TEXT
